General Steel, Golfer Wins Trip to Myrtle Beach for Golf With Former Steelers Player

Myrtle Beach, SC (PRWEB) January 11, 2008 -- Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday announced recently that Jesse Johnson from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania was chosen as the winner of FOX Sports Radio Pittsburgh's "Get Off Your Couch and Get on the Course in Myrtle Beach" contest. Johnson registered and won the opportunity to play three rounds of golf in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with former Pittsburgh Steelers defensive end L.C. Greenwood.

Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday, the well known golf destination marketing company, partnered with Clear Channel Communications to give away an all-expense paid golf vacation for two to the area. "We're excited to partner with Clear Channel Communications to reward one lucky Pittsburgh golfer with the ultimate golf vacation in Myrtle Beach," said Bill Golden, Golf Holiday's vice president and director of marketing. Johnson and his guest will play golf with Greenwood Thursday, Friday and Saturday at three area courses; Pawleys Plantation Golf and Country Club, The Tradition Club and Willbrook Plantation.

"Pittsburgh has been one of our stronger feeder golf markets and the Myrtle Beach Direct non-stop flight connecting Pittsburgh and Myrtle Beach was successful from the first day the service was announced. Congratulations to Jesse Johnson and we look forward to more promotions with FOX Sports and Clear Channel Communications in the future."
